"I spend more time in hotel rooms than the Gideon Bible. Tour constantly. Travel a hundred thousand miles a year, looking for interesting people and places. Done that for the past three decades. No one offers a better day for a visitor than Wild Wicklow Tours. The tour is tops in my book." - Bob Dotson - NBC News Today Show

This has seriously got to be one of the best tours we've ever been on a whole day. We didn't really know what to expect and how places would be compared to the pictures we saw. But we were surprisingly pleased with the whooooole day. John our guide was amazing, not only a really nice guy he was extremely knowledgable about everything from the second we stepped on the coach in the morning till the very end. Make sure you bring a camera so you don't miss out on the spectacular spots he will stop at to get your very own photoshoot going on. He will happily take as many photos for you as you want as well as photobombing the odd pic here and there. Along with the Wicklow mountains beautiful landscape and johns quirky sense of humor you really will have the time of your lives. John=legend! Thank you.

Not quite sure how they did this - but this trip was not only unhurried and easy-going, but also covered an enormous amount of history and a significant amount of ground. The tour guide (also driver) Niall, was knowledgeable, entertaining and compassionate. We had to stop the bus while we all got off and freed a deer who had caught his leg in a wire fence. The stops were well-timed and the tiny bit of walking we did was perfect for a bus tour. The views were SO beautiful. Many thanks to Niall. I'd recommend this tour to anyone - particularly if you've spent a few days in the city and want to see some countryside. X (for Niall)! And an X from my daughter too!

He was funny and extremely informative. The views of the countryside were breathtaking and the trip was well worth the money.

Niall was a fabulous driver and tour guide. Really knew his stuff and made a personal connection with each member our tour. Stops and breaks were well-timed and interesting. I would highly recommend this tour.

Normally we don't really do the whole bus tour experience, but this was really a fantastic trip! Our tour guide John entertained us throughout the whole day. He told many jokes, great tales and we enjoyed the stunning views! Since it was very windy I was actually glad we got to sit on the bus and enjoy the views while we were riding through the mountains... We had several stops where we got plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery! Our last stop was in Glendalough where we got to learn more about the history of the place and we also got more time to walk around and enjoy. We ended the tour with a small glass of Jameson Whiskey which was perfect to warm us back up, since it was very windy and thus quite cold that day.

This was a full day of interesting scenery and places. Dennis was our guide for the day and he loves to talk and play a crowd. That helped the mood along on a cold and damp January day and kept us all going for a very personal tour (how does he seem to know everyone in every town, every pub, hotel, restaurant, etc in Dublin and around?). Even the weather did it's best for us.

We had our tour of Wicklow last 29 October and there is only one word to describe it ....... AWESOME!!! Joe, our guide, apart from having talent in singing, is very knowledgeable and funny. A perfect mix for a tour like this. We will recommend you 1000%.

I have done this tour three times. I love it so much. The first time I was alone, the second time I brought my mother, and the last time I brought my boyfriend. We had a blast. We had John as our guide. He was so helpful with information, taking photos and we even passed Bono's neighborhood. Glendalough is beautiful and John gives you a guided tour through the monastery. This was a special treat for a U2 fan like me! There is a lunch break. The food is great. Be sure to check out the little shops near the restaurant. The price for this tour is great, and you get to see so many things. I think I'll be back for another tour soon.
